Current needs for FS in Cambodia

FS Recycled Clasp Project Startup:  Currently we are in the process of further development of this project which was conceived in early 2009.  We dream of setting up a site to produce our clasps in Cambodia in other metals (in addition to the silver that we already do).  We would like to start making clasps out of recycled metals, and more specifically out of the many discarded weapons, bullets and disabled bombs that litter the country leftover from the Khmer Rouge Regime.  These metals, once used to destroy life in Cambodia can be transformed into life giving income for families living in abject poverty and extremely at risk of human trafficking.  Please consider giving towards this project so that we can make it a reality.

Micro loan fund:  Give towards micro-loans that help men and women step towards a life away from poverty, where they may choose the profession of their destinies and test out their entrepreneurial skills that they learned while training in the Freedom Stones project.  Once an individual graduates from our holistic and vocational training program they can choose to start a small business, which benefits the local community.  Loans as small as $50 or $100 can change lives forever.  Women can buy sewing machines to become local seamstresses, equipment to become hairdressers, or the money to put down on rent to start a local restaurant. Once their time with Freedom Stones is complete, these individuals can be launched into the destiny of their choosing with your help.
