ECPAT is a global network of organisations and individuals working together to eliminate child prostitution, child pornography and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes. It seeks to encourage the world community to ensure that children everywhere enjoy their fundamental rights free and secure from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation.

The U.S. Department of State Trafficking in Persons Report. This annual report outlines the issue of human trafficking and how it affects people in virtually every country in the world. This document is basically a report card for each country, outlining how they are mitigating human trafficking (or in some cases) neglecting to prevent and eradicate it.

The Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) is an Alliance of more than 90 non-governmental organisations from all regions of the world. The GAATW International Secretariat is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and coordinates the activities of the Alliance, collects and disseminates information, and advocates on behalf of the Alliance at regional and international level.

Particularly helpful are both the Footsteps and ROOTS publications that give clear, concise instruction on how to bring change to communities in need.

World Vision put together this site to explain a strategy called Transformational Development. This strategy is one that Freedom Stones seeks to mimic as we go about our work around the world. Wayne Bragg and Bryant Myers laid out this development strategy, which is being used by many Christian organizations today. Myers wrote a book called “Walking with the Poor” which we highly recommend you read to understand transformational development.
